What happened to eBay sold data
- Marketplace Insights, eBay's API for sold items, is a limited release that isn't open to new developers.
- eBay's public APIs (like Browse) return active listings, which are asking prices, not what things sold for.
- Sold search on ebay.com blocks automated requests, so scraping it is unreliable and against eBay's terms.
To be clear: SoldStack doesn't have eBay data. If you need eBay specifically, look for a third-party provider that resells it. If what you're pricing is fashion, read on.
For clothing, shoes and bags: Poshmark
Most secondhand fashion in the US sells on Poshmark. SoldStack returns those sales cleaned of bundles, kids' sizes and mismatched items, with the median, range, days to sell, net after fees and a confidence rating.
