What it does
List the items in a lot with brand, item, condition and quantity. SoldStack values each item from cleaned Poshmark sales and adds up a lot total. Every value comes with the sales behind it (up to 5 per item, each linked), the range those items sold in and how many sales the value rests on.
It reads clothing, shoes and bags. It does not read photos: you or your tool supply the item list.
What the test showed
GavelGap, which scores GovDeals surplus listings for resale profit, sent SoldStack 3,772 clothing, shoe and bag lots that had closed, each with its winning bid. A winning bid is what a reseller paid, so a good resale value should normally land above it. The share of lots where each tool's value came in below the winning bid:
| Lots scored by both tools | SoldStack below the winning bid | GavelGap's own estimates below it |
|---|---|---|
| All | 9% | 34% |
| 3 or more bidders | 20% | 51% |
Lots that list their items one by one did best: across 639 of them, SoldStack's value was a median 2.0 times the winning bid, and 85% came in above it.

Where it works and where it doesn't
- Works: lots that list their items. Brand, item, condition and quantity per line is what the values are built from.
- Weak: single items. Both tools came out at about the winning bid: bidders push one branded item close to its resale value.
- Overvalues: bulk commodity lots (2,100 plain briefs, 200 belts) can come out 10 times the winning bid or more. Online single-item prices don't carry over to bulk basics without a steep discount.
- Pallets sold by weight need a unit count before any per-item value means anything. Without one, you only get a value per unit.
- Clothing, shoes and bags only. No electronics, tools or vehicles.
- Poshmark sales only, US and Canada. Values are resale prices, not what a liquidator would pay for the lot.
